I've found interesting HDR processing and I decided to give it a try. Not the best picture available, but the others are on dvd and I'm not in the mood for search.

HDR

I found another interesting blog and nice tutorial about HDR. If you have will... take a look: http://www.thewindypixel.com/ .  I've picked randomly a photo (at a pretty low resolution) and made a hdr from a single file. I didn't bother to edit it very carefully.  You may guess which is the original.

Sibiu

Sibiu, also known as Hermannstadt, a very nice place to visit. Full of history and ancient buildings; here in pictures you can see the passage of the stairs linking the upper town to the lower town. 16th century Monastery

Ship

Night shot of full size ship at the entrance (or exit...) of Constanta city. Unfortunately I could't catch the moon in picture, as it was high and my "tripod" was a rock found in the grass.

Cat

Hunting something... It has a bad habit (for me) to catch almost every night a mouse around the garden and leave it at the door. But otherwise... it is cute, despite the fact that one eye is green and the other one blue...

 Well, always can find interesting stuff on the beach. Shells, for example. Shortly will be sand...      

Bear's Cave

I visited this cave when I was very little and since then each year I wanted to revisit it. Finally, I made it... and was awesome to realize that 30 years passed like in no time...

The name of the cave came from some 15000 yrs. old well preserved bears fossils.

And, funny fact, in this cave you may see a natural formation on the ceiling that looks like a trapped bear.

Browsing some old photos I found this picture of a man walking on the beach, in a frozen wind.

Cluj Napoca

On the way back home I passed trough Cluj Napoca, also known as Klausenburg, a very beautiful and interesting city where I lived for two or three years, and stopped by to take a photo at dawn. I am not very proud with postprocessing but hope you will like as it is...

Photo taken with a Canon A610 Powershot. Post processed a litte and I think it looks interesting. Actually the London sky isn't so dramatical but is beautifully strange.

Boat

I found on the beach this rusty boat, sailing on deep sand and high grass, waiting for better days perhaps. So I took a shot and processed as a HDR.

Quit smoking

I try hard to quit smoking... Not for health reasons (these shoud be the main) but from a financial point af wiew. I just made an arithmetic exercise and... guess what: 15yrs. x 2 pks. x 365 dys. x price  =  HUGE.

Stonehenge

Stonehenge, surrounded by green hills.  Quite impressive in the middle of nowhere. Hundreds or thousands years ago people used this site to worship at their gods, probably... who knows? And now different kind of people whorship the place. If you have the occasion to visit it... do it.

A friend's hands at work.

I always wanted to take a picture of him at work and finally succeeded... Here, finishing my bag. Always is amazing for me to watch him punching, cuting, sewing leather by hand. If you enlarge picture you can see all those holes punched at very equal space...  And truly amazing work. From Harley bags, to shotgun holders, to belts for jeans. I know he made a guitar strip for Nightwish.

Cold Morning

Walking on the beach on a very cold morning with strong freezing wind, but interesting scenery. My hands were frozen and it took me a while to take the photo due to heavy shaking. I hope it worth...
